1. How do I get feedback on my child’s progress?
You can consult your child’s instructor before or after the class. If you are not able to make it during these hours, you can call our center to speak to your child’s instructor during non-peak hours.
2. My child cannot make it for his/her usual class, will there be a make-up lesson or can he/she come to a class that is held on another day of the week?
We do not conduct make-up/replacement lesson. However, you may collect the worksheets for the lesson that your child has missed to do at home. For questions with difficulty, you may arrange a time before or after the next class to consult the instructor. Alternatively, your child can come on any weekdays during our Math Coaching sessions to consult any of the available instructors. Please call the centre in advance to arrange.
3. My child is no longer able to attend his/her usual class, can he/she change to another time slot?
You may change the time slot once and is for the whole semester. We strongly discourage students from changing classes as different classes have different learning pace, which they may find difficult to cope with.
4. My child finds his/her current class too difficult to manage, can I withdraw my child and get a refund?
Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. We can recommend you to transfer your child to other programme that suits him/her. For instance, if a student cannot cope in the Fusion Math class, he/she can attend the syllabus class. In the event that your child cannot attend any classes due to timing issue, he/she can attend later and utilise the balance fees within the same year.
5. What if I am interested in enrolling my child for a math programme, but there is no available time slot that can suit my child’s schedule?
You can leave your contact details, the class that you wish to sign your child for and your preferred time slots. We will notify you immediately if demand is enough for us to commence the class.
6. What is the maximum number of students per class?
The maximum number of students for syllabus classes is 12. Fusion Math classes vary among different centres. Please enquire with the centre you wish to sign up.
7. How do I know what topics will be covered for the course I registered my child?
You can find all the topics to be covered under the ‘Programmes’ menu on www.mathshub.com.sg. However, topics covered are subjected to change depending on the ability of students.
8. Will my child be given any assignments to do at home?
All assignments will be completed in class.
9. Can my child attend a trial lesson?
Yes, we only allow one trial lesson and an additional $10 is chargeable. If your child is interested to continue after the one lesson, we will offset the $10 and you will pay the remaining fees for the semester. However, trial lesson is not available for holiday programmes.
10. Is individual coaching available?
Yes, subject to the availability of our instructor and classroom. The fees though, will be much higher than group teaching. Please enquire with the centre you wish to sign up.
11. Is individual coaching better than regular classes?
We recommend students to attend regular classes instead of individual coaching. Regular classes are structured, encourage interaction and promote healthy competition among the students. Hands on and science experiments are also included as part of the lessons.
12. Can I request for the same instructor when my child attends the coaching sessions?
No, instructors in the coaching sessions may be different each day, it depend on the instructor’s teaching schedule.
13. Are the holiday classes a repeat of lessons taught during semester?
Our holiday programmes are not the same as semester programmes. Our instructors will reinforce students’ concepts and challenge them with harder questions during school holidays.
14. I want to prepare my child for DSA (Direct School Admission). What classes should my child sign up for?
We currently do not have Math classes specifically for DSA. Our Fusion Math programmes are in line with preparation for Math competition. Students who score well in Math competitions can consider using their results/certificates to apply for DSA into their preferred schools (subject to the school`s requirement and decision).
15. Can I transfer my child from one branch to another?
We do not allow our students to transfer from one branch to another. It is difficult for our instructors at different branches to monitor your child’s progress. Furthermore, classes at different branches will not be on the same pace. It will be advisable to switch to another branch after attending one semester.
16. Do all the different centres use the same materials?
Yes, all our centres use the same materials.

Though we do not collect deposit but would appreciate if parents give us prior termination notice. You can contact the centre to inform the service staff.
